background in

administration,
having earned a

Professional
Purchaser (C.P.P.)
designation from the
Purchasing
Management
Association of
Canada. Throughout
his career, Ted has
consistently
contributed to the
success of complex
projects.
Ted is knowledgeable
in property
management & service
contracts, has a
working knowledge in
most building trades,
having built several
cottages and
renovated numerous
homes. Mr. Kelly has negotiated leases
for commercial space
for previous
employers so is knowledgeable in the
various types of
leases, along with
arranging for
sub-leases and
tenants.
Ted resided in
the Highland & McKellar Park areas
of Ottawa West for
over 40 years, while
spending his weekends
exploring the wilds
of West Carleton
Township, Renfrew
and Lanark Counties.
He now reside in the
town of Arnprior.
In his spare time
Ted has
volunteered in such
agencies as Scouts
Canada, Big
Brothers, Canadian
Diabetes, the
Canadian Ski
Marathon and various
snowmobile clubs.
He's
currently a volunteer
with the Arnprior
Lions Club, the
West Carleton
Snowmobile Club and
the Partners in
Caring Foundation of
the Arnprior &
District Memorial
Hospital, where he
is
Chairperson of the
Planning &
Priorities Committee.
Ted has also been
President of the
Ottawa District Purchasing
Management
Association of
Canada and the Maple
Leaf Chapter of the
National Contract
Management
Association. He has
taught evening
classes “The
Principles of
Buying” at Algonquin
for over 15 years.
